PROJECT MANAGER
The APIIC seeks an experienced Project Manager who will be responsible for planning and overseeing pharmaceutical API projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. The successful candidate will be able to lead a team, monitor project progress, keep stakeholders informed, designate resources, set deadlines, problem solve and manage a budget.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- In concert with management and project team, define project scope and objectives
- Coordinate with project team to identify resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
- Develop and manage detailed project schedule, work plan and project milestones
- Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
- Provide project updates and communicate with stakeholders in a consistent and timely manner
- Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
- Track project costs to meet budget
- Schedule, convene and facilitate project work group meetings; assign and follow up on action items
- Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
- Coordinate with drug API development and manufacturing partners
- Document program actives
- Work with Project Lead to oversee the collection and maintenance of records

Qualifications
- College/University degree in related subject
Experience
- 3-5 years’ experience in related field
- Pharmaceutical experience preferred
Working Conditions
- Office environment, ability to work from home
- Standard 40-hour work week. Some overtime/weekend work may be required
